Privacy Policy

Account details. When you sign in with Google or email, we store your email address and a unique account identifier. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares for sign-in (your name and email). We never see or store your Google password.

Photos you upload. Photos you submit are stored in private storage that only you (and the systems that process them for you) can access. Photos are used to analyze your item and generate listing content.

Listing content. The item details, conditions, notes and generated listing text associated with your account.

Payment records. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We store a record of what you bought, how many credits it added and a payment reference — never your full card number. Stripe handles your card details directly under its own privacy policy.

Usage data. Basic product analytics: which pages are viewed, when an upload or generation starts or completes, and marketing attribution (such as UTM parameters) so we know which campaigns work. This data is not used to advertise to you and is not sold.

Copy Gen works by sending your photo and your notes to an AI service that identifies the item and writes listing content for the marketplaces you select. Photos are used only to produce your results. We do not use your photos to advertise, and we do not publish them anywhere.

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: our hosting and database provider, the AI service that analyzes your photo, and Stripe for payments. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with the marketplaces (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, Depop, Poshmark, Etsy) — you paste your listings there yourself.

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your listings on this device, and attribute sign-ups to the marketing link you came from. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Account, listing and payment records are kept while your account is active so your history works. Analytics events are kept in aggregate form. If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete your account, listings and photos.

You can sign out at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing info@copygen.io. We will action verified requests within 30 days. If you are in a region with a consumer privacy law (such as California), you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Copy Gen is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
