Terms of Service

Copy Gen turns a photo of an item into marketplace-ready listing content — titles, descriptions, price suggestions, condition, category and tags — for eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, Depop, Poshmark and Etsy.

We write content only; we do not post listings for you. You copy the content and post it yourself. Copy Gen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any marketplace.

Listing content is generated by AI from your photo and notes. It may be wrong or incomplete: it can misidentify an item, miss flaws the photo doesn't show, or suggest an unsuitable price. Price suggestions are informed estimates, not appraisals or valuations. You are responsible for reviewing every listing before you post it and for the accuracy of what you publish.

You need an account to generate full listings. New accounts receive one free credit. One credit generates one item's worth of listings — a distinct version for every marketplace you selected for that photo.

Credits are available in packs: 10 credits for $9, 30 credits for $19, and 100 credits per month for $29/month (prices exclude any applicable tax, which is shown at checkout and handled automatically). Credits have no cash value and are not transferable. If a generation fails, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Pack purchases are one-time. The monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel; you can cancel anytime and keep access to the credits for the period you paid for.

Because credits unlock digital content delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits are used. If you were charged in error, were double charged, or a purchase didn't add your credits, contact info@copygen.io and we'll make it right.

You agree not to use Copy Gen to:

• list counterfeit goods, stolen items, or anything whose sale violates the law or a marketplace's policies;
• misrepresent an item — including its brand, condition, or authenticity — or infringe anyone's intellectual property;
• upload photos you don't have the right to use;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the service, or resell access to it without our written permission.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, without refund for credits consumed in the violation.

Your photos stay yours, and the listings we generate for you are yours to use. You grant us only the limited right to process your photos and notes to produce your results and operate the service. Feedback you send us may be used to improve Copy Gen without obligation to you.

We work to keep the service available, but we may change, suspend or discontinue parts of it. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused paid credits.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Copy Gen is not liable for lost sales, lost profits, marketplace account actions, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or content you publish based on it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. We'll try to resolve any dispute informally first — email us and we'll work on it. If that doesn't work, disputes will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continuing to use Copy Gen after a change means you accept the updated terms.
